Actor Observer, on the same day their joint EP dropped with Godseyes, supported Sevalynn at their own release party. They were joined by Sir Echo and This City Hates You. There was a decent crowd present at Deep Cuts, including the hardcore fan infamous for showing up to gigs in a Wendy’s fast food uniform.
This blog is a perpetual experiment. In the spirit of taking openly about that experimentation, I have to confess to thinking not a single one of these pictures turned out. I brought a flash, but something about the LEDs and the ceiling height of the venue wasn’t working, no matter how I shifted my settings to compensate. Granted, I don’t know a single photographer who loves their flash, and I avoid using one to a fault, but even so, the conviction I felt about beefing it was all-consuming. I almost didn’t even check these pictures before wiping them off my memory card. I’m glad I didn’t do that, and my sweet husband Noise Floor took a pass at editing them to prove me wrong. They are O-kay!
